This is a content heavy website but also one that needs to be visually appealing in order to engage potential students. Therefore the structure and layout needed to be clean, clear and crisp to ensure the content is clear and easy to access while still being visually interesting.

To facilitate this multiple image backgrounds, image links and icons are used within a horizontal grid style layout. The grid layout also enhances the professional feel of a large and organised institute.

Cool blues are the holding colours of the design with accent colours used to highlight any important content.

With a large student base, social links are key features and they are given rounded icons to ensure they stand apart from the otherwise straight edges of the rest of the content. Mobile friendliness was also a key consideration of this site with the target audience (students) mainly accessing the site via mobile devices and with a fully responsive web design this site will be functional and beautiful on every device.
