The client approached us to do a complete eCommerce redesign of their current website. The old website was outdated and did not provide the functionality that the client required. The website needed to be user friendly, allowing customers to create accounts, log in, purchase products online and book repairs through the website.
WordPress was the platform chosen to create the website as it has a great platform for eCommerce stores and allows all the functionality that the client required. Amy was the team member who was chosen to work on this project.
The website design was created using Elementor and customer HTML and CSS based on the criteria of the project. The website includes a user account section that easily allows customers to create accounts, log in and keep track of their orders and payments securely. Customised online bookings for customers to book repairs at a time, date and store location of their choosing.
Product variations for different colours, sizing and specs. Customised product filters to allow customers to select what brand, product type or price to make the shopping experience as easy as possible. Fully optimised for Desktop, Laptop, Tablet and mobile devices.
Full SEO was done on the website to increase the companies rankings on search engines. The website was fully optimised to ensure there is a fast loading time for users on the website. Analytics are active on the website so the client can keep track of how users move through the website. This will allow us to also spot any places where the website can be improved.
As the client was very happy with the outcome of the website they are now one of our maintenance clients. This involves a quick turnaround on updates that are requested to be made to keep the website up to date. Ensuring the site itself is backed up and updated to keep the site running fast and problem-free for the client. This project was enjoyable to create with all of the different features. The website was launched in November 2021.
