The Irish start-up scene is buzzing, and we love to stay connected to all that energy and innovation! That's why our very own Amy was excited to attend the 2025 Annual Regional Start-Up Summit recently. Now that the dust has settled on what was a packed event, we wanted to share a little about her experience.
The summit, a big day for new businesses in the region, was impressively launched by Minister for Enterprise, Tourism, and Employment, Peter Burke, alongside Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless, and Minister of State, Niamh Smyth. It set the tone for a day focused on growth and fresh ideas.
It was fantastic to see such a collaborative effort, with Scale Ireland and The Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) teaming up to make it happen. Plus, a big shout-out to the event partners like Google, Enterprise Ireland, and others who supported the day.

Hear fresh ideas: We got to see presentations from some really exciting leading start-ups like Zinkworks, Mersus Technologies, GreyScout, IDASO Ltd, Dimply, Scopey, and Drew Aerospace. It’s inspiring to see the problems they’re solving and the new tech they’re using.
Understand the journey: Many start-ups are just beginning to build their online presence, and that’s where we come in! Understanding their challenges and ambitions helps us create websites that really work for them.
Meet great people: The networking opportunities before and after the main talks were brilliant. Amy had some great chats with passionate founders and people from across the business community. You never know where the next great collaboration (or even client!) might come from.
Being part of this ecosystem and supporting new businesses as they grow is something we’re really keen on.
