King Communications

King Communications was founded in 1997. They are a leading partner of Vodafone Ireland, with Vodafone retail stores throughout the midlands, North East and South East of Ireland. They aim to meet their customer’s communication needs and provide the best products and services at the best price. The brief for this project was to redesign the old outdated website and give it a new fresh user-friendly interface. Ensuring to include all updated content on the company's continuous store growth across the country.

The platform chosen for this project was WordPress. The client’s main focus for this website was to create a website with a fresh and modern feel. Where they could promote all of their news and updates for expansion. A platform for careers to allow people to join their growing them.

Functionalities added to the website are as follows; a careers board to apply for roles within the various sectors of the company, a blog section to highlight all of the company's news and events from around Ireland, contact forms and highlighted CTA buttons to allow ease of getting in touch for the customers.

Included in this project was the set-up of the Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts. Google Analytics will track user engagement on the website allowing them to target any advertisements to specific demographics of people. Google Search Console allows the website to be crawled increasing its rankings on the search engine. Full SEO optimisation was carried out on this site to get the company above its competitors in its specific regions.

The result is a fully functional user-friendly website with makes applying for new jobs and reaching out to their support team a breeze. This website was launched in October 2023. The client is currently on a maintenance plan which includes monthly reports on website performance and a quick turnaround on any queries or changes.
