MI Solutions

MI Solutions are specialist in accounting software and is a full-service provider offering installation, training and maintenance. They also provide other business software solutions such as cloud computing services, mobile service apps and more. With over 20 years of industry experience, they will improve your business efficiency through the right software.

The brief for the MI Solutions project was to take their old site and create a more modern, forward-thinking design, reflecting their modernity and brand. As Opus created the previous website for our client, we believed it was important to retain certain aspects of the old website such as colour and imagery. This way current customers of MI Solutions would still see a recognisable brand when they visited the new website. With accounting software forever advancing, we believed it was important to keep the design flexible and responsive across all devices.

Our client wanted to get away from the standard business tone, which is generally used on software websites, and instead wanted to opt for a more fun and engaging text format that would make the customer feel comfortable and welcomed as soon as they arrived on the website.

We decided to build the new redesigned site on Elementor on WordPress. We believed this was the best platform option as it allowed us more freedom with the overall design, allowing us to create a flexible bespoke website based on the needs of our client.

The main function of this new website was to promote the software that MI Solutions provides to their customers such as Xero, Cin7, LiveCosts, Iplicit & Service M8. Another important factor to include was a responsive booking system where their clients could quickly and simply book an online meeting with our clients in order to discuss what accounting software was best suited to their company.

Conor was the team member assigned to this project and he worked closely with the client frequently to ensure that all the key requirements of the new website were met and delivered at a high standard. The client was delighted with the end result and is confident it will be a lot easier for customers to book meetings with our client and allow them to offer a better service for their customers.

The website was launched in June 2023 and the client is now on a maintenance contract with Opus. This allows for weekly website updates and continued support from the Opus team on any website enquiries or issues.
