The starting point of Tableinabox, Table Linen and Unique Gifts. Everything you need to dress your table for any occasion and the perfect gift for birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas, house warmings, engagements, gifts for those who love to entertain and for those who love home interiors. The core value of Tableinabox is to provide excellent quality responsibly sourced products that you won't find on the high street. They deal with small suppliers that have unique products not massed produced. The quality is always fantastic and because they are sourced responsibly we are doing our bit for the artisans who produce them and the environment.
The project brief was redesigning the old eCommerce website and adding more functionalities and features to allow the tablescape setting to be purchased as a whole box or individual products. To highlight all of the different products and categories on offer as well as promotions. Also included in this redesign was to create of an email marketing template for the client to use going forward for any promotional material.
Amy was the staff member chosen for this project and the platform chosen was WIX. WIX was chosen as the client's old website was also on WIX and they offered services to cover the client's needs. Working closely alongside the client the website now covered all of the client's product ranges and offers more functionality and options for the customer to purchase these products. The site has a new modern feel to it and is no longer outdated and hard to navigate.
One of the functions added to the website was a search bar. As the website contains a lot of products this feature was recommended to the client to allow customers to easily find what they are looking for. A newsletter subscription was added to the footer of each page offering new customers a discount, this is done through automation within WIX.
The website was launched in December 2022.
